Brynne Bennett is living the good life. An American art student at the University of London and part-time photographic model, she’s putting her life back on track with school and lots of hard work. That synopsis is misleading. Don’t trust it. Brynne is not living the good life, at all. There is no school part, or getting lots of hard work done. There aren’t huge secrets. Only huge lies. There wasn’t any attempt at Ethan trying to free Brynne from her past. There wasn’t any letting him free her from the past.

This book has left me with a big What the flipping sausage did I just read?look on my face. When it says it’s only 115 it means it. No more, no less. And boy, is that a horrible thing. The whole book was fast paced, actually it more like turbo pace.
Literally, it goes like this:

Book starts.
Girl meets boy.
Boy tells her to get in the car.
Boy acts all dominate to strange girl.
Girl feels like she went down the rabbit hole.
Girl can’t take boy off her mind.
Boy calls girl.
Girl wonders where he got her number.
Boy is a creep and called himself from her cells, whilst she slept.
Boy interrupts her everytime and demands a date.
Boy picks up girl and calls her his girl.
Boy acts like a caveman and territorial.
Date.
The go to his place and BAM! sexy time
Girl falls asleep even though she didn’t want to stay the night.
Girl wakes up like a lunatic because of nightmares.
Girl escapes boy’s apartment.
Boy goes crazy.
Boy and girl decide to take thingsslow..
Boy and girl talk and then sexy time again.
Girl sleeps over a whole week at boy’s place.
All thanks to sleeping pills.
Girl feels that she falling for boy.
Boy has a guard stalking her….for protection.
Girl falls for boy.
Girl visits boy at work and Dad calls.
The huge secret is revealed.
Girl’s dad hired Boy to protect her from evil.
Girl gets mad.
The end
